About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will assist with overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, whilst ensuring a positive work culture. You will lead, motivate and supervise the team to ensure quality and consistency. You must be energetic and enthusiastic with a real passion for cooking and people management.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience as Sous Chef or a Chef de Partie ready to take the next step
  • Must have Italian cuisine experience. Pizza skill advantageous
  • Exposure to high energy work environment
  • Management experience and leadership skills with focus on staff development
  • Understanding of food safety standards
  • Proven ability in building and maintaining effective relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptable to change, possess initiative and solution focused
  • Must be available and willing to work a rotating roster, including weekend and public holiday
